Vacations in South Africa
I would probably start with Kruger Park Londolozi Blyde River Canyon as it is in easy access by road from Johannesburg and Pretoria. You can even Fly-In to Skukuza the parks H.Q.! It has everything to offer from Walking Safaris to 4 by 4's overland to self-drive and twice a year at the Letaba Camp over looking the Letaba river a magnificent "Bush" Classical Concert "Sunset Serenade"! In April and September, with plenty of game to see!
Leteba is very much Elephant country! I just love these majestic animals so it is one of my favorites! What I would suggest is before making a firm booking get the advice and ideas of an experienced Tour Guide if you know of one? If not Joy of African Wildlife Tours is an amazing source of knowledge. Her link below tells her story! She has many satisfied customers who keep returning to her. She has a vast knowledge and could plan your whole Safari if you so wished!
