Tsitsikamma National Park
Tsitsikamma Park is a heavily protected coastal reserve that is situated on various regions of South Africa. These include the Eastern Cape, the Garden Route, and the Western Cape. Tsitsikamma National Park is an area where water abounds in high
levels of abundance. In fact, “Tsitsikamma” actually means “area of
abundant water” and/or
“area of sparkling water”. This park is nestled on top of a plateau that sits approximately 200 meters. The area has a deep river that results in gorges. These have aided in the development of ravines. The climate is considered to be exceptionally mild, regardless of the time of year; however, there is a very high level of rain that occurs throughout the year.
